I am really at a crossroads. I am in love with Seoul. I am in love with the Korean culture and lifestyle. Maybe you can call this the W-Curve...where I start missing Korea like crazy. I missssssss Korea and my friends there! It's hard trying to contact all the friends I have there. Besides....I have something bothering me that tells me I need to return to South Korea. I know it may sounds weird and what not but...I do not know what to do. Do I listen to my heart or listen to my brain/mind? Or do I listen to logic and common sense. Like I said, I am going to college next year. I am really excited to start a new journey in life but is this the right path for me? I do not want to stay in Minnesota...I intend to go out and see the world. Should I listen to my heart or the logic of the brain?

College applications are done! I just have to send in mis-year report grades. So far I have been accepted into two schools...but it's not even my first choice! You see...at this point it is really hard to understand what I want anymore. I do know that I would like to return back to Seoul. For sure, I know I will go back...to to do what? That is the question.

Hey Hey Hey! It's nearly Halloween and I just can't wait! When I was back in Korea I missed Halloweeeeeennnnn soooooo much I wanted to cry! But here I am in America celebrating Halloween with my family and friends. Mannn!! How I wish I can share such joy and crazy Halloween games with my fellow Korean friends. I wish they can experience my life here in America! HaHa~~~~ hopefully one day they'll come and visit me here! I can't wait to go back to Korea too!^^

Hello readers! It has been about 2-3 weeks now since I returned from South Korea. There's been so much I had to do so I didn't really have time to express my thoughts and keep you up on what's been going on. I have so many mix emotions I can't even begin to express myself. Are there any words to how I feel?? Maybe never but I will try my best to put it into words. *I may have repeated some things...*

Life here in America has been going pretty smoothly but I still miss Korea like crazy. Almost every time I compare things here to things in Korea. I know I shouldn't do it so often but I can't help it. My mind always goes off into dreamy "Korealand" and reminisce about Korea. I love Korea and Korean people and I am not going to deny that. I really just want to go back...in some strange yet comforting way I know it's my second home. It just feels like it. I can make Seoul my home (haha and I kind of want to too!) There's so much to do in Seoul while here I'm stuck in Minnesota...nothing ever to really do. Don't get me wrong I am not bashing my American hometown...it's just that I feel like there's sooooooooooo much out there you know. I feel strange just walking around in my neighborhood like I don't belong. I know it sounds weird but that's the honest truth. Everyone is just so.....American. I just need someone with Koreaness to bond with. Whether it's from liking Korean music to culture or language. But sadly...there's no one...yet. I somehow have to move on but use my experience in Korea to make my life here in America feel more complete. T^T And I haven't learned how to do that just yet......

Every time I think about Korea and my journey there feels like a dream but it has been a "dream" come true. It really has and no doubt will I ever forget it. I seriously want to live in Seoul...well kinda. I want the best of both worlds meaning I want to live here in America and I want to live in Korea. Is that even possible?! I love and miss Korean people they are so generous and kind. I miss them. Am I too Korean for America now??

Dammit! Why is packing so hard? I have to throw so much away because I can't take the WHOILE ENTIRE KOREA home with me. lol. I must make some sacrafices....horl. I'm still in the middle of cleaning but I got lazy and bored so here I am messing around on the net. Later tonight my host-family is having a good-bye dinner for me. They haven't decided what or where to eat yet. My little brother wants to go to VIPS, a steak resttaurant, but I don't want to go there because it's American food. I want to eat Korean food becuase I won't be able to eat good Korean food until I get back to Korea. 어디 갈까?

Time For Farwell

Hello fellow follwers' of my blog!! I am leaving back to the States in exactly a week. June 12. I really can't believe I've been here for a year! The time's drawing nearer and I have to say my farewells and clean out my stuff from my host-family's house. I must admit I am excited to see my family back in the States yet I am utterly sad that I am leaving my Korean life behind. Is it possible to have both lives? I feel like there's so much I haven't done yet...what have I been doing all this time in Korea? Well I mean I've been to a lot of places all over Korea but there's still so much to see, so much to explore, and so much to learn. I feel like I only got 1/4 of it. I may sound greedy but I don't want only 1/4 I want the WHOLE!!! Yes, I will admit that living in Iksan was kind of like living inside a walled city. I felt so limited to things..but don't take me wrong I don't hate Iksan. I just wish that I had more to do in Iksan (BESIDES STUDYING!!). But nevertheless I still really love Korea. I really do. And to follow up with this program I'm definitely planning to come back to Korea.

But I still have a long ways to plan that. For now I must start packing...which is EXTREMELY HARD. (AND I AM NOT EXAGGERATING THIS!!!! >:O ). Packing is such a pain in the butt! And I have so many Korean worksheet papers...stuff that I already learned...what shall I do with them? And then there's the Korean books..those I'm planning to bring back to the States with me but it's going to be so freakin' HEAVY!!!! AHHHH!!!!!

I told myself today that I am going to work hard and be a diligent student. I only have a few weeks left and I can't just go around screwing off. I need to actually study and enhance my Korean more! We have a verbal test this Friday....I'm freakin scared for it....I think I'm going to screw up again just like last time though I thought the lady was kind of weird. I just want to improve my score. I am my own competitor and I must achieve a higher level. I hope I do well on Friday. Wish me luck. In about 10 minutes I will start studying Korean again. :)

I met Brian's real mom and older brother today just as they were leaving back to their hotel. Man!! Brian's brother looks just like him EXCEPT MORE KOREAN-LIKE!! XDDDDDD This is hilarious! XPPPPPP Brian's host-dad is superrrrr cool! If he hosted me we would get along so well~he's humorous and so am I!! His little brother didn't say much..I suppose he's tired from being in hagwon all day and Da Hyuk went back to his dorm early so we didn't get to see him.

You know honestly I'm afraid of my future...like transferring credits, graduating high school, applying for college, getting into college...yes yes yes it's all about college right now. I'm dead worried and I feel like I lost an essential year to learn all things to get a good score on the ACT Test. Hopefully I can it up in one summer...this summer. I think I've made up my mind about going back to school as a Senior and not a Junior but yet I feel like I still need a year's worth of learning to do. Is that even possible in one whole summer? LOL. I guess we'll just have to try. >:P

안녕~^^ Ok, here I am again on the internet at such a late hour but I suppose I can sleep during resting time tomorrow. Danggit I wish that we didn't have Mrs. Park tomorrow so I wouldn't have to go to school. I just get so angry now every time I think that I have to go to school and be stuck in a enclosed box all day and I can't even practice my Korean really. *SIGH* Or am I just being a little baby and complaining??

Today we went to Jeonju at 11AM to hangout with Seongseangnim but class was really at 3pm. This morning pretty much sucked because it was raining and we couldn't really shop outside so we went to Hanok Village instead of Geaksa. I finally bought all the presents needed for my family..now just my friends left to shop for. Man all these present prices are starting to add up! lol. At lunch we at the BEST Galguksu (갈국수) I've ever eaten so far in my entire life in Korea!! Sadly I wasn't able to finish it!! XDDDDD!!!! Hahaaa! 선생님의 아이를 진짜 괴여워요!!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Our teacher's baby is sooooo cuteeeee!!! I just wanna kiss her soft rosy cheeks! XDDD!! She's adorable!!

Talking about babies I really miss Serena (my niece). Danggit it's been foreverrrrr since I last saw her!! I miss her so darn much!! I dreamed about her the other night...but I don't even know how she looks like now. I really don't. T^T......She's probably so grown so much by now. I'm sad and scared that she won't remember me since it's been so long and I feel like I missed out on an important year of her memory life....I just really miss her. I miss you Serena. T^T I'll see you soon.

I'm starting to miss my family and friends back in the States yet I feel completely devastated that I'm leaving in 3 weeks. It's like I just started to establish a life here in Iksan yet I'm already leaving in a few weeks. I must say I don't really like Iksan much but I'm totally in love with other parts of Korea. I don't regret being put in Iksan because I've made a lot of friends here and had crazy spontaneous adventures with Nicole and Brielle!! XDDDDDD!!! I love those two gals!! Not all NSLI-Ys hate each other ok. lol. Now back to the topic of Iksan....and recently my host sister Gina doesn't hate me as much now...I wonder why. That's a very very very good improvement. One step at a time right? :) I'm sure she still detests me but at least we can talk to each other without her throwing tantrums at me...or her mom. I really wonder why she can't get along with me....but I guess I'll leave that question for later when I leave.

OHHHHHHMMMYYYGAAAAWWWDDD!!! I totally forgot to tell you guys about our school exercise day and school festival!!! In Korea we call it 체육대회 and its where all the classes compete against each other to see who's the best in which sports. Boys agianst boys and girls against girls...blah blah blah you know I mean. Ok so I participated in Basketball and we got to semifinals but unfortunately the third graders were playing nasty and our defense kind of sucked so we lost. I wasn't angry that we lost...well maybe only a little bit being the intense athlete that I am, I got angry at the defenders because I felt they didn't try their best and didn't try blocking the opposing team. Overall I was proud of our team for not playing dirty and playing real "American" Basketball. However I felt like the biggest disgrace ever because I played basketball so well in America and yet here I am as the losing team. But I can't blame myself...because I was playing it the American way while most people were playing cat-fighting Korean basketball. lol.

Ok...so it's getting really late and I should head off to bed...let's hope I wake up on time tomorrow unlike today..I was superrr late and I almost missed the bus. Good night!!! :D

It's 11:31PM now here in Iksan, South Korea and I should be heading to bed but I don't really feel like it yet. -.-""" And I have school tomorrow too...oh gawd...I'm going to be dead tired tomorrow. I guess we get to leave school early because we have Korean class in Jeonju (전주) at 3pm~ish. I know Bjorn's going to be late..as usual! LOL! BriBri can't come because she's going to JeJu Island (제주도) with her school!! 부럽다!!! ㅜㅜ ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Earlier today I just came back from Gyeongju (경주) which is on the east coast of Korea. Gyeonju us truly a beautiful and historical city. The city is filled with old tombs (that looks like GIGANTIC Indian Mounds)buried in it with old Kings and Queens of the Shilla Kingdom that once reined Korea. Gyeonju is also famous for it's sweet red bean paste bread and I bought a set for my parents as a gift. It's quite expensive if you ask me..but I guess it was worth it. :) Did I mention the best way to see the city was by biking?! Oh~~~ I had the BEST time EVER!!!! I really miss biking!! Can't wait to do that when I come back to the States!! XDDDDDD

The guest house we stayed wasn't too bad either...actually I kind of liked it. It was buried in the back by other buildings and the FUNNIEST part was that it was next to a "motel". LOL. Also their free bread, jelly, and butter was the BEST thing I've eaten in a longggggg time. Those we were some legit jelly and butter I say! ahahhahaaa!!!

Now...the 3-hour bus ride home was a real killer....a real killer. I had cramps and the bus doesn't stop until 1 or 2 hours into driving and I had to really use the bathroom....I suffered on the bus for a really long time and the only one to soothe me were Nicole and Brielle but even they couldn't do much. Danggit I was so angry with myself my for bringing emergency pills!! GAHHHH!!!! I seriously thought I was going to die...but thank goodness the bus driver got us into Jeonju faster than I thought and I took a taxi home right when I got to Iksan. When I got home I ate an Ibuorofen and took a 3hr nap and afterwards when I woke up everything got A LOT BETTER!!!!! Note to self: BRING IBUPROFEN EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!! lol.

I should really go to sleep...no..actually I need to do my Korean homework because I haven't even started yet!! Gah!!! I need to finish it as soon as possible..and besides I'm extremely worn out from the trip. I don't know how I'll be able to handle school and Jeonju tomorrow with these awful cramps...Azna!!! PLEASEEEEEEE PLEASEEEEEE MAKE THESE STUPID UNNECESSARY CRAMPS GO AWAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! THANKSSSS!!! T^T

Yes yes yes yes yesssss!! Thank goodness it's fianlly Spring! I was really getting tired and bored of Winter! Times for a season change! But along with Spring comes the infamous Yellow Sand from China.

Yellow Sand:

So all those in Korea must be CAREFUL and SHOULD buy a MASK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE though I don't have one yet....lol.

Today Nicole and I left school early...ahhaaa we just left without telling a teacher. It's kind of like dicthing but not really because we only had an hour left until we really have to leave anyways. It's sooooo hialrious how we just leave ahhahaaa man I really love Nicole. She cracks me up all the time!! Brielle should go to school with us! It's so fun when we do things we weren't suppose to do but we do them on purpose anyways. We don't do anything bad we just break school rules somtimes...ahahaaa. Besides according to what Mrs. Park said we're not on thier "official" enrollment list.

Oh I'm soooooo outrageously angry at Mrs. Park and Jeonbuk Jeil High School because they won;t issue me an OFFICIAL legit school ID!! I mean seriously how hard is it?! It should be simple! I don;t understand why Brielle's school and Bjorn's school gave them ID's BUT not Nicole and I?! Why why why?! All I want is a school ID and they won't even grant me that wish. So much for trying....

Tomorrow is Children's today so we have the day off!! Woot woot! I wonder if this a Asian celebration because they sure don't have Children's day in America. I suppose I'm going to the Festival at Wonkwang University with Nicole, Brielle, Bommie, Chunggkin (Hyo Jin), and Min Hyun. I think Gina wants to go to because she obviously overheard us chatting about this. I know she wants to come....but I'll ask her anyways if she wants to come with us.

The Wonkwang boys left for thier to China yesterday and when Jae Yong gets back we're going to celebrate his birthday!! :D Yay! But I still haven't decided where and when yet....I suppose I should do that soon. Brielle wants celebrate in a DVD Bang but he's gonna get the TOTALLLLLLLY WRONGGGG idea so better not go with that option. Hmm...Norae Bang? That sounds much better...I guess we should invite Tae Wook (Brielle's boyfriend), Jong Won, and other people...Bjorn won't be able to make it...and I think Jae Yong think it's only gonna be us two. LOL!! Ummm, it's not. hahaaaaaaa...

Yea..SeungHyun is suppose to come up to Iksan already~where is he?? I think he finished his exams already...he was the one that wanted to ahngout anyways. :D

HEYYYYY guess what?!!! Ok so we won't be able to go to Jeju-Do but we're going to Won-Do (another Island)!! YAYYYYY!!! And foreingners don;t really go there so I guess it'll be a nice surprise to the locals!! YAYYYYY!!!! It's going to be GREAT!!! YESSSSS!!! I love the NSLI-Y Program because we get to travel so much and see the REAL Korea!!!! :D

Also my knee is finally getting better but not completely healed. I have to get it checked out when I get back to the States. I hope nothing's wrong...

Sorry sorry sorry!! 미안 미안 미안!! I've been quite busy and haven't had much time to blog about my where abouts but here I am! Alive! :D These past I don't 3-4 months have been a REAL ROLLER COASTER! Up and DOWN! From Jan. to FEb. I spent my Winter Vacation in Seoul with the rest of the other NSLI-Ys. Of course we each had our own host-families and my was just lovely. I should call them sometime soon....anyways back to what I was saying. We also had Korean tutoring in Seoul ans that was the turning point for most of us with our Korean. We improved our Korean drastically. The 2 months I spent in Seoul with the Korean tutor I learned more than in sitting in a Korean school for 6 months doing nothing. I really regret not getting a Korean tutor. It really helped. :) I'm so proud of all of us for improving our Korean in such a short amount of time. Learning Korean grammar and structure makes me realize that I need to go to American and learn English grammar more thoroughly. It's going to be hard...as you know English is not my first language. :) But I'll go back and work hard. It shouldn't be too difficult should it?

We returned to Iksan in March and another new Korean school year started. We have a whole new load of first graders (meaning Freshmen). Returning to Iksan life was a horrible for me because I had adjusted so well to living life in Seoul. It's completely different. I had to go back to being a hogh schooler in my uniform and being at the bottom of society again. I must say I don't enjoy wearing my uniform like the other exchange students. I really didn't want to return to Iksan...too many reasons I must not say. I guess I didn't have such a enjoyable time before I left to Seoul. My host-sister and I weren't on good terms and I guess when I returned things got even worse. And no, I'm not exaggerating about this situation. I really don't understand why she detestes (to the point where she possbily may hate me) me so much but I never give up on her. I know there's good in her. But I must say it really is tiring when I always have to put with her negative attitude, remarks, and looks. All I ever wanted was to be her friend and do language exchange in which she denied me of both. I've told her numerous times this is unfair to both of us...but she just never listens. I've tried so many times...I don't understand why....I really don't....

Oh yea yea yea!! Last weekend we went to BUSAN!! Can you beleive it?! I've been wanting to go to BUSAN for SUCH A LONGGGG TIMEEEE!!! I am soooooooo freakin HAPPYY!!! Like nothing can make me angry right now!!! Busan is AMAZINGGGG!! It's soooo darn beautiful. It's surround by so many mountains. It totally took my breath away! I love Busan! I wish I lived there! :D Please you all must visit Busan if you come to Korea. :) It's really beautiful. But I warn you...Busan people are tough and rough. They know what's up man...so don't mess with them. lol.

I honestly must say that I miss America so much. I miss Minnesota. I miss home. I miss my family and friends. Whoa~~ I just let that all out. Korean High Scool life is defitnetly hard...reallly hard. As much as I love Korea...they really do need to change thier Education System a little. I miss Freedom. The number one word. Freedom. Korean High School students barealy have any say in school. Don;t get me wrong I'm not bashing Koreans or Korean Education System...I just think they need to change a few things you know. I wish Korean students can see and understand my point of view but most of them don't. I have the urge to start something interestin at school but I doubt it'll happen....I want to tell you how I honestly feel...but I feel like it's might be a littel one-sided so I'll have to pour it all out later. I'm only here for about 2 and a half more months so I should make the best of everything. :)

My Korean got wayyyy better since we got some tutoring in Seoul for 2 months. The 2 months that I spent in Seoul I have learned more Korean than the 6 months that I live in Iksan. Isn't that funny?! I'm really disappointed in myself...why don't try hard enough like Brian? Why won;t my brain work? Why can't I remember anything at all. Sometimes when I learn Korean it goes in one ear and out the other...I'm really mad. Also I got the test results for our Korean Test....my score was horrible. I don't even want to look at it or think about it. I suck at speaking...especially in the spot. I don't know enough words....or least I can't memorize enough of them. My sentence structure is limited and I can't think of any other sentence structures except Subject+Verb. That's so elemantry school!!! T^T....I've been here ofr almost a year and I can't even speak Korean! Mai Tong!!!! 왜!!!!!! I thought I was working hard and studying hard and the results just came out bad....horrbile...the only good thing is my pronouciation....Do you realize how frustrating this is for me? I actually know more than that but when I speak and answer it doesn't out at all. T^T....

I realized how much I love and respect my host-mom. :) She trully is a a good person. I wonder how she feels about me.

Gina...hmmmI think things are getting better with her. I don't talk to her anymore...not really unless I need to. I guess I learned it the hard way that she doesn;t want to talk but only when necessary?? I'm not sure but I keep quiet becuase she's wayyyy happier that way though I am suffering inside. I guess for now I'll just keep quiet.

OHHHHH!!!! GUESS WHAT!!!! I started a K-Pop and Hip-Hop dance class!! kekkekeee! It's soooo fun! It's hard and I dance like a fool but at least I'm trying righto?! haha! Hopefully this will help me get those extra weight off too kekekkeeee!! :P I have 2 dance classes with Brielle (another exchange student). We are currently learning 5 DOLLS - "It's You" song! It really isn't that hard...I suppose but it's super fast. Let's see how this goes! >:D

Ohhhh....also did you hear about Japan?!!!! Tsunami and earthquake! T^T This is heartbreaking to me since Yumi's family lives in Japan and her grandma lives in the town where the nuclear plants are leaking out radiation. They can't come to Korea because her Aunt has some sort of disease....like clusterphobia sort of thing so she can;t ride the airplane......I hope the best for them. Hana-nim plesae help them and the Japan and the people in Japan. Thank you.

Today we took another Korean test. I'm just really angry at myself for because I did no bad on my tests. Why?! Every Korean test that I take is so damn bad! I'm really frustrated and angry at myself like you don't even know. I need to study more. I need to learn how to use my time more efficiently. Ok...I somewhat feel obligated to learn Korean because I'm here and I'm Asian but that isn't really the reason why I want to learn Korean. This is really for my future....I wanted to learn Korean for so damn long but here I am and my brain is so damn slow!!! I'm really sad that my brain is so damn slow! What should I do?! Like seriously I'm just really upset that I can't learn Korean as fast as I want to and like other people. Every time I see my score I just want to cry and scream out in RAGE! I just have so much anger at myself! Is that even normal?? I also hate it when people think I'm Korean and that I can't speak Korean or something. I really need to work harder. Mai Tong, HWAITING!!

~WEEKEND TRIP~

Last weekend we went to the spa like 2-3 hours away from Seoul. We took the train and that was really nice relaxing time. :) I love riding longgggg train rides and just think. :) I love it! I'm going to miss that when I get back to Minnesota. Back to what I was saying...the spa! We stayed in a pension...well actually two pensions but I stayed in the bigger pension that didn't have a bed! lmao!!! That night that we stayed at the pension we met our new staff (쌤) and his name Kyung Nam Lim but we all call him Kangnam! It's just easier that way and we NSLI-Ys just love giving nicknames to people! kekekkekeeekkeeeee! But he was in the smaller room with Kylie, Nicole, and Marisal because I decided to join the BIG room! kekekekeeeee! That night our pension besides Haemi-ssaem stayed up until 4am listening to Josh's story. OMG! What a story! It's like an exclusive scoop! Can't say tell ya though! :P!!! And dude like we had to wake up at like 8am!!! ONLY LIKE 4 HOURS OF SLEEEEEEEEEEP!!! And the next day was the BIG SPA DAY! ahahahaaaa but it was worth it I suppose because I've been wanting to know the story behind his strange attitude.

The SPA was realllllyyyy fun! We went to Doctor Fish where we got our feet eaten by little hungry fishes!!! Now that was a COOL A** experience!! kekekeee!!! Then we went on a water ride....that was scary!!! Then later in the day we only stayed inside becaue it was bone chilling cold outside!!! We saw so 4 performances by the same people but they were all different dances. The B-boys were pretty hot and they all had abs! OMFG! NOw that was eye-candy like seriously!! We couldn't handle that! can't handle all those abs in a row in one day! lmao!!! Then qwe went to the Jimjibang at like 4pm till 5pm and cleaned ourselves up real nice! oh yea! Our skins felt so damn nice afterwards! kekekeeee!

Heyyyy~~~^^ Sorry I have written in here so such a long time. I have been very busy occupied with school and the little kids in my Seoul host family. We NSLI-Yians have been taking Korean classes since January and until we get back to school which is like in March. I will have to admit that by being here in Seoul my W-Curve and mood has been up. :) Thank you sooooooo much!! <3! I felt so hopeless in Iksan....December wasn't a good time for me at all. I will have to touch base about that later.

Seoul never fails to AMAZE me! :) The other day we went to Namdaemun (남대문) which is like a BIG shopping flee market or something like that. (Kinda looks like little chinatown or something.) WE were only there for like 20 minutes so I would like to go back there gain...maybe like spend my whole day there! ahahaaa! That would totallllyyyy be FUN!!! >:D WE also went to Daesuk Palace. It's wayyyy smaller than Gyeongbokgung but it was still breathtaking to see Korea's old traditional buildings. :D I seriously can't believe how dynamic Korea is! In the middle of downtown there are loads of old National Palaces!! I loveeeeee that! :D Like who wouldn't like a dynamic country like Korea?

Coming back to Seoul made me realize that I haven't achieved or done anything at all in Iksan to improve my Korean language skills. That is really sad...and stupid of me. I guess I was just all too caught up in things to foucs on Korean. I feel to limited to things in Iksan....and it really is too small...you can't even make a legit friend or do a language exchange. I must say I really love Seoul and at times I would love to make Seoul my new hometown. :) I went jogging by the Han River a few days ago and it felt so damn good and I loveeeeeee the view! I wish I can do that every day! 좋겠다!! The buses here are so damn CONVIVIENT and FAST (most of the time). :P!! I really love and enjoy exploring Seoul! :P ahahhahaaaa! Now that is a healthy hobby! :P hahahaaaa!!

Having a private Korea tutor really does help us learn Korean more and better. I really wonder why they didn't just give us a tutor in the first place because we would've learned a lot more by now. Thank goodnesssss that we will continue to have a private tutor in Iksan but it's gonna be a guy this time. I wonder how that'll go. LOL!!!!!

Ok....so time for confession...sorta?? haha~~~....well...one of the reasons that I always felt down in Iksan is because I don't have any friends in Iksan. Sad as it is...it is true. I really do try but they are all so immature, loud, noisy, screechy, whiny, and have no time. Of course humans want friends but it's just so damn hard! I don't wanna try to hard or anything...if friendship comes then it comes and it shouldn't be forced. Also I'm really done trying with the girls at my school. I have already decided that I don't want to be friends with anyone of them. Of course they were nice at first like all Koreans but then they got mean and walked all over me (at least I think so). I can't let that happen again. I try so nice be a good American student and friend but they just really don't see that or something. I'm done. I'm done trying to be friend with them. Even my so-called-host-sister is not my friend...I didn't say that to her but she said that to me. I said, "We're friends right?" and she replied, "No, we're roommates." Ouch. That realy killed me...that was like a slap in my face. Thanks a lot Gina. I feel great. *SARCASM!* I'm done with her too. I've tried countless times and I always get hurt by her reactions. She doesn't even reply to my short text messages that I send her because I want to know how she's doing. She really doesn't want to talk to me because she hasn't reaplied to one. I'm done being so dang nice to her and putting up with her crap and moody-ness. She needs to go figure things out then she can talk to me. I'm not even gonna talk to her until she takes initiative. I know it sounds mean but like seriously I just want to like not acknowledge her. We might as well not be host sisters if you don't want to be my friend. I sort of talked to Haemi about this and she analyzed my situation and thinks that Gina might be jealous of me for getting more attention that her. Is that it? Is that so? I really don't know.

I'm just so mad at Iksan, Jeil High School girls, and Gina right now! I really am!But I really can't let that get to me like Mo said, "Just enjoy your time. Have fun. You're in Korea." :D I'll keep that in mind.

Today we went to the SPA for our NSLI-Y weekend trip. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be because I really didn't want to wear a swimsuit. ahhaaahahahaaaa~~things turned out ok though. :) I got my feet nibbled by little fishes today for 5,000 WON! DANNGGGGGG IT WAS WORTH IT because my skin felt so soft afterwards. The thing was that in the beginning it feels like a dog licking you and then it feels as if therer are ants crawling all over you then it just feels normal. Now that's how a fish-nibbling-feet treatment works. xDDDDDDD!!! ahahhaaaa!

The house pensions that we are currently staying at are so DARNNNNNNN AWESOME!! Interior design = love at first sight! I fell in love with our house pensions! They are perfect! It's roomy and there are stairs that lead to a second floor that looks like a attic...a cute attic that is. :) It's rally cute. I should uplaod some pics for you guys! >:D

Merry Merry Merry Merry Christmas!!!!! :D WOW! I freakin can't believe it! It finally snowed here in Iksan! FINALLLLYYYY!! AND ON CHRISTMAS TOO!!!! GOOD TIMING!! Such agood timing! Ohhhhh I've been studying KOrean vocabulary and so far I've remembered most! Aren't ya proud of me?! And of course I think my Korean grammar is getting batter too. thanks to the book the 학원 (외국인) 선생님 gave me. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I have to learn all the vocab before I can move onto the enxt chapter. It's Christmas Season and korean don't really care about Christmas....it makes me really sad when i think about it. Christmas makes me really homesick....gosh how I misss my freinds and family back in America. Christmas here is more of a "Couple" thing then a "Family" thing which PISSES ME OFF LIKE CRAZY!! 미치겠어!!!!! GAH! Wy does almost everything REVOLVE ROUND COUPLES?!!!?!!! It doesn't have to be that way! (Sigh).....KOreans are just so funny sometimes ya know. My sister doesn't want to spend Christmas together becuase she's going out to meet her so-called boyfriend on Christmas....I'm not sure I'm even able to show them my American culture because of this......

Oh kekekeeee we had a Christmas Party last Saturday at Brielle's house! It was AWESOME!! It all the American food! It was HEAVEN!! I miss them soooo much!!! Thank you!!!!! OHhh yea things have been a litel crazy so I forgot to tell you that North Korea bombed South Korea's Isnland near Incheon. North Korea started this people are going crazy thinking that we're going to go to war. I don't think North and South Korea are going to war anytime soon....but incase there is a war all the NSLI-Ys kids are getting a helicopter out of this country...and this is for real!! I'm not liying because we're here on a US Department of State scholarship! :]

Hmmm shall I tell you some more about Korea high schoolers since I have a lot of time on my hands...right now? Ok I shall!!! lol. SO....well...at least with Korean high school girls....they like you for about a month or 2 then after that they kind of leave you alone. You become like some sort of celebrity and then they dump you ahahaaaa....like no kidding. Sadly....that's what kind of happened to me...but hey it's time for me to go up to them! (AND I've been doing that!)

Another thing is that because I'm Asian Koreans think I'm a Korean and so I don't get that surprised look for being an American. Yes, Americans do get some sort of a better treatment and more attention but I'm not saying I want any of that. WE all will have different experinces being here in South Korea. But sometimes I do get annoyed though because some Koreans think that I'm a native Korean trying to show off my cool English skills and they give me a look. I pretty much just ignore it now. lol. In a way it's cool to think that Koreans think I'm Korean because I don;t even look Korean like serisouly! Likewhen I first got to Iksan some studens tried speaking to me in Mandarin Chinese...and I was like O_O""" Umm....I don't know what you're saying....except for hi. lol. Where is Jessica Ma when I need her to translate Chinese?! j/k!! And the other day when we were in Insadong some guy sope to me in Chinese when I bought street food. lol. Now I wish I knew Chinese....Chinese is one of the languages I want to learn though! :) I want to learn...Korean, CHinese, Japanese, and French...the list may grow longer in the future. >.<""

Ohhhhh the other day I was watching National Geographic and they were showing us a Notorious Mexican Prison Camp....shit I was so freakin scared. People are crazy man! You have to work within the camp to survive jail. It's not like AMerican Camps where you get fed and water for free. You still have to pay to live in a Prison. That's hard work!

I really miss watching Sonny with a Chance!! lmao!! xDDDD That show is so damn funny! I wish they had Disney Channle here! They only have SpongeBob and his name ISNT EVEN SPONGEBOB HERE!!! Hmmmm I miss America's Next Top Model....I must say I am not impressed by Korea's Next Top Model....like the modeling part...I think they can do better.

Why is it that I really miss Chrsitmas?? I keep saying this over and over again. Yesterday I saw some pictures of the Christmas Tree Lighting in New York and I wanted to cry.....ugh...such a home-y feel. Oh...sad news....very sad news...Mr. Camp at Harding High Shcool passed away. I never had him as a teacher but I remember him as the lunch monitor when I was a Freshmen. I was kind of looking forward to have himas a teacher when I got back from Korea. Mr. Camp seemed like a really cool teacher with a lot of sarcasm! I like sarcasm...most of the time. Mr. Camp you did well on Earth. It's time for you to go Home. I'm sure you're in a much happier place now. :)

Hello DECEMBER~~!!! ^O^ I don't know why but I feel a sense of excitment with Demcember here! :) Yet...I am a little sad because the semester kids are leaving soon....like in 17 days or so...I'm going to miss them....and then unexpectedly 2 year kids are leaving too...:( They have their reasons I suppose. (Sally and Kelley are leaving). Now there's only going to be 8 people during the year and Nicole might get to live in Seoul.

I am starting to miss my family agian....maybe because I'm starting to miss that Christmas-y feeling.....I love Chrstmas but Koreans don't really celebrate Christmas excpet at church. I really think they should celebrate Christmas!! It's such a HAPPY FEELING!!! I know I've been a little selfish and only talked about myself here on this blog. No worries I will write a few paragraphs about Koreans. :) I'm going to make a list ok. These are NOT bad things about KOREANS!! :) They are just "my" observations and things that "I" experienced. Please don't go around spreading rumors about Koreans.

-High School Korean girls tend to be friends with only the girls in their homeroom class. (Koreans stay in the same room while the teacher moves around to different classrooms).
-The "smart" students sleep in school dorms
-All school uniforms are EXPENSIVE!! And yes...even the ugly ones.
-Koreans serve rice and soup every day for school lunch and dinner
-Food is generally pretty cheap here. If you have 5,000 Won then you can get a decent Korean meal.

OMFG!! SO MANY THINGS HAPPENED!! Well....at least it has to me...lol. You see gah....I don't even know how to explain it anymore. But let's start out with Piano 학원~~Piano lessons are going great!! I am getting better and better but the thing is that I still suck at reading the notes in Korea....like remembering the names for the notes. lol. ㅠㅠ......The teacher is really nice and her daughter is pretty nice too and funny. lol. :)

My host family is lovely!! I love them! We go to church together every sunday though I attend the English Worship service. In January my host sister will join me so that she can learn more English. I'm not too sure if I like this pator though....and I think I have too many questions about the bible and Christianity that it bugs him....

Remember how Jane and I still have unsolved problems and we never talked things out...well I talk to Haemi saem and she said the best thing to do is write her a letter since Jane obviously doen't want to talk to me. So I did. I gave her the letter last Saturday...and I told her to reply to me as soon as possible. (Though sometimes I doubt whether or not she was able to read my messy handwriting...-.-"). It's been a few days now...and she still hasn't replied to me...and she COMPLETELY IGNORES ME NOW....like no eye contact....she doesn't even come to the bus stop anymore....makes me feel a little bad....but why is she doing that? Last night my host family got in a huge fight about going to a "Bathhouse". At first I thought that my host sister didn't to go and that she hates bathhouses. Oh wow! So many things happend over the past few weeks! I've been so busy! Gah! To start things out I just got back from our four-day school trip two days ago. Iy was long and very tiring! xDDD But it was a GREAT TRIP! :) On the first day we went to Lotte World and slpet at a crappy resort. The second day...we....shoot I can't remember! Ok so over the course of those four days we went to Lotte World (repeat! lol.), an old Prison Camp, 2 Buddist Temples, climbed up a mountain...sorta, Myeong-Dong, wacthed Nanta (great show!), Waterpia, the beach, and more. -.-" I'm sorry I can't recall all....ugh I have SUCH BAD MEMORY! SORRY! 미안!

Like I said earlier I switched host families. it's just that my old host family and I weren't very confortable with each other. I thikn they sensed that to that's why I moved to a different family. Yet I feel like I did something wrong. Did I do something wrong? 박 선생님 (Teacher Park) gave me a leter that explained everything...well kind of...the reasons were that they felt that I was very uncomfortable (and I was) and that I hate them even though I smile at them (no I don't hate them). You see I guess we just don't connect because I have tried endlessly to talk and converese with them but they never really respond. That puts me in a spot where I can't continue being myself....still I'm not very clear why they switched me out...I keep thinking there were other reasons involved. Also Jane (my ex-host sister didn't even say bye!! >:O What's up with that man?! Though she did help me with the loading...but how can you not say bye to someone you lived with for the last past month? You see when I mean about Jane?! She's just so anti-social sometimes!! Jane is nice but I guess we just don't have that kind of chemistry. Also I don;t think she's even going to say hi to me at school. I think she's going to ignore me!! Sad!

OK now about my new host family!! I really like them but let's give it a few more days time to actually confirm my feelings about them. :) You see I only live a few blocks from my old house so things are still pretty much the same. lol. I think I am hapier at my new house. I get to call my host mom 엄마 (mommy) instead of 이모 (Aunt) which I totally like better! XDDDD. The host dad is pretty chill and the host brother is really cute!! xDDDD. The grandmother also lives with us. :) I really like this house! :)

OH Jane, Jane, Jane, Jane....Jane is annoying me yet again. I don't thikn she'll ever stop annoying me. She really needs to grow up. She's 16 yrs old but she acts like a freakin 12 yr old. GROW UP! I am really tired of this. I want to tell her to act her age but I'm stuck with her for a year and I don't want to cause any problems. (Also cuz I feel like I already am causing enough trouble already). Jane and I are obviously are not on the same level. I try to be her friend and start conversations with her but her replies are always mumbles. How can we chat if you always try to end the conversation? I'm a really talkative person...and I guess she's not. We're like water and oil...that will never ever mix. We have no common ground except that we live in the house and go to the same school. So this is why I am officially going to stop talking to her. It's her turn to work at it now. I've tried countless times and she always cut me off with her mumbling. Jane, it's your turn now. (By the way this really pisses me off...it's like talking to a damn tree).

Today I went to an international church with 이모 Tina and her niece. It's a really small church...actually it doesn't even look likea church until you get inside. lol. The Pastor is American and his wife is Korean. The preaching is in English and Korean...thank goodness! It's time to venture out on a new road so that's why I am going to try to attend church on sundays now. I have so many questions for the Pastor...but I'm afraid he won't be able to answer all my silly questions.

A few days ago I had some problems with my host family and I think it was due to the lack of communication. I thought she hates me and she thought I didn't like her family which is not the case ofr either of us. We sat down and talked about it and now things in the house are better. Last weekend went to the Jewelry Festival and my host mom and I bonded over dinosaurs and chickens. lol. My host dad and I bonded over Korean Pizza (as the Koreans call it). ^O^

Ok so there's this guy at school...did I tell you about this one? I think I might've mentioned him before but I'm not sure. His name is 임성민 (Im Seong Min). He's a real cutie, tall, lean, such a gentleman, and he plays soccer well!! He lives by me too!! We ride the same city bus almost everyday...and for some reason I thought he was this other guy named 재하 (Jae Ha) but then I soon realized it wasn't!! I thought he was really cute and it was awkard seeing each opther everyday and not saying hi so I finally did it one day. We both got off te bus and and I ran to to catch up with him and tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around. I said, "나 너 친구하고 싶어." (I want to be your friend). He chuckled and said "uhh yea.". We walked towards our homes and continued talking for a bit and then we parted our ways. lol. I found out his number through one of my guy friends who was in the same garde as him...adn they're friends. lol. Oh gwad....I wonder if they talked about me. lmao. Last Monday (like 2 days ago) I bought him an Appl Juice Latte drink....he took it but looked annoyed yet amused and humored. Am I really that funny? Or was he just plain retorting me? *SHAKE HEAD* I DONT KNOW! I thought he was going to buy me a drink to....but apparently not....gosh...oh well.....

This week at school the students have Mid-term testing so Nicole and I are stuck garding English Papers. I thought we werer going to have more free time but I guess that's ok. SO yea....over these past few days...or even weeks now..(I can't remember) I've been busy. Last week I went to Caribbean Bay and Everland. I thought I was going to have a blast and the best birthday ever but it turned out just the opposite. I'm not going into detals but let's just say I didn't enjoy my time there and it was just plain awkward. I would really love to go back to Carribbean Bay and Everland but with friends and family and actually have a good time. :) *And no...I didn't get to see 2PM or SNSD at Caribbean Bay.*

Jane really annoyed me these past few days....and she still does a bit. I think her whinny-ness is annoying!! Gosh just grow up! *Though I woulnd't dare say it to her because she wold probably cry or hit me or just hate me forever.*

I super duperrrrr excited about school because we have our Fall/Winter School Uniforms!! It's AWESOME~! I LOVE ITTTTTT!! The only problem is that I'm a little fat so gotta shed some of those American pounds. Ahaahahaa. The boys look extraaaaa cute now with thier new uniforms too! Oh gosh!! That reminds me about him...lmao...I found out his "REAL" name!! I spelled it wrong the whole time!! It's not 태우 (Tae Woo) it's actaully 대우 (Dae Woo). Ughhhhhhh!! I got sick over the weekend and it's not fun at all! Runny nose and my throat hurts! What's worse is that I keep thinking about him! 태우! GAH! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!! LOL.

Also yesterday I finally met up with 태남 and gave him his present...kind of lame...but I hope he likes it. (Originally I bought him a cake but thst didn't work out as I wanted it to and so....no cake for him.) Then I said, "Hey, I'm going back to my house to sleep because I'm sick." and he looked at me like "wth? I came al this way just for this??" lmao. So I decided to ask him to go on a walk which turned out to be pretty cool. He bought ice creams for us at Lotteria then we walked back to the park and sat and talked for a while. He's such a sweet guy. :)

Ohh...the worse thing over the weekend was that I WENT SWIMSUIT SHOPPING! It was horrid...just like how I imagined it....just horrible. First, all the swimsuits were ugly and super EXPEN$IVE!! (Also they didn't have my size...a little sad eh? lmao.) So my host mom and I just ended up leaving and she's going to the YMCA to buy me a swim suit...which cost $30...shoot I don't wan't to waste my freakin money swim suits!! GAH...all this stupid stuff I have to go through because I didn't buy a swim suit back in America....Forever 21 had really nice ones...and they weren't that expensive.....If they don't have my size....I'm doomed...lmao...I should really start losing some weight though.....people here skinny so the clothes bound to be skinny too....lol.

This morning was just CRAZZZZYYY~!! XDDDDD. It all started at Pop Song Club. **I quit Table Tennis (탁구) because it was really boring** SHOOT!! I'll ADMIT IT!! I AMIT IT!! I like 태우 (Tae Woo)!! :x HAPP?! Gosh! First day I saw him I thought he was cute and then as time flew by my attraction drew on him. 어떻게?! Gosh he's such a cutie! When I got to Popsong Club my freinds were like "oh my gawd 태우 오빠 (Tae Woo oppa) rode a motorcycle today!! I was like...is it the 태우 I know? Well turns out it was him because just then he walked into the room. (DAMN! HE LOOKED GOOD!ㅋㅋㅋ) Something inside me stirred and I couldn't look away but he refused to have eye contact with me. lol. A few minutes later I heard the boys say my name but they didn't look in my direction either. I was wondering if he was thinking about me. lmao. But I guess I wasn't off on that because later as the girls got done singing in the 노래방 (noraebang) I went to the bathroom and walked into him. He looked up and smiled and said "Mai Tong, hi~". GAH THAT WAS SO CUTE!! I said hi back of course!! Then while the boys were singing and the girls were waiting outside the room he said my name into the microphone TWICE "Mai Tong."...."Mai Tong." LMAO! I was cracking up becasue I don't know he kept saying my name and I was getting embarrassed and the girls kept asking me why. lol. Eventually they found out that I had a thing for him...and they kept trying to make me talk to him as if I'm not nervous enough already. when the boys finished singing we were allowed to leave and go back home. I started wakling out the room when I noticed that something or someon was pulling my hair I reached to grab it and there was nothing...then I felt it again..this time annoyed I turned around to see who it was...no one. Then I noticed 태우 to my right and he was laughing...I didn't know what to say in Korean so all I said was "야, 뭐 야?!". He was still laughing and took the clothes pins off my hair. lmao. Ohhh so about "him"...I don't think I told you yet. Recently I've been texting him...maybe a little too much and too obvious. That's not good! When he does text back it's simple words and leaves no room to chat. 어떻게?....It's a bit confusing if you ask me. I think I'll just leave him alone. They all seem super duper busy STUDYING!! GAH!! I'm starting to get mad at myself now. I am constantly battling with myself inside. A part of me wants the dream so bad yet the other part of telling me it's not likely to happen. Oh, I'm so confused....I don't believe in myself....just yet. I have to prove to myself that I can do it. I want everyone to hear my voice. I want to sing for the world. I want to move people's hear with my voice and songs. I don't think I'm at that point yet. I love singing but I'm not good at it. If you want to make it into the industry you have to have a good voice. I highly doubt I have it. ugh...I hate it...It's so hard...I try and try but I can't sing at all. This is probably telling me that my dream isn't what's destined for me. I'm in Korea yet I feel like trying to make into the industry is even harder than before. Is this a realistic dream? I try and try to push it out of my head but everyone I attempt to it fails. It always comes running back! >:O I'm so tired of fighting it. Should I commit to it or not? GAH!!! AZNA!!! HELP ME!! I can't think anymore~!! Everyone wants this and it's like 1 in a millin for me to make it come true. Azna, please give me a sign so I can follow the path that's right for me. :)

Hello Hello Hello~! I know I know...I'm lazy at updating...so I'm ont gonna repeat myself again...I'm lazy at blogging...happy? So you know how I told you all the girls at my school said the boys there are ugly...well that's not truw. there are planty of good-looking guys there!! There's several that I talked to recently...they're all sooooo cute~!! I can't choose!! lol. XDDDDD. then again I wonder why they even bother to talk to me...lmao. OH!! This boy that I find very cute his name is 태남 (Tae Nam). He is Japanese and Korean mix...he has a really cute personality!! Ok so yesterday night he called me and told me to meet him outside because he had something to give me. (we live close to each other but he now lives in school dorms). I was wondering what he would give me and why this late....then when I met up with him....everything came into place. It was the date of 2NE1's FIRST FULL ALBUM and he had bought one for himself and I along with posters. He said it was an "early birthday present" though I do question that...lol. It's soooo nice of him to buy it because I wwas going to buy it myself on the weekend. I feel bad now because I didn't get him anything for his birthday which on was on the third. >.<" That's why I am going to buy him a cake next weekend...hopefully I'll still be here because my family plans to go on vacation then. Ohhhh but it's soooo cute of him!! I tried to hug him...but I think Korean boys are just awkward at hugging. lmao. Also I am VERRRRYYYYY HAPPY THAT I HAVE THE ALBUM~!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.

Ok so it's been about 1 week since I started Korean school (하국아 학교). All the girls are nice and the boys....well they don't really say anything to me assuming that I'm just another Korean girl. Since we are on that topic shall I eleborate more? Almost everyone (when i say almost everyone I meant 99.9%) thinks I'm either Chinese, Korean, or Thai AND I'M NOT! The reasons why: 1) My last is Yang (양) 2) I look Korean 3) I was born in Thailand. Listen people I am Hmong (also kwown as Miao) and we originated from China BUT WE ARE NOT Chinese. Hmong people are non-han people and one of the many minorities that live in China. There is a large population of Hmong people that live in Southeast Asia. Due to the Vietnam War Hmong people are located all over the world such as USA, Australia, France, Argentina, and French Guiena. I try to explain that to Koreans but then they don't understand because their English is limited. It frustates me because I can't tell them who I truly am instead just saying I'm American (미국 사람). This has made me realize how I need to appreciate my culture and my people more. :)

About School~

Now about school..lol....I've noticed so many things. ㅋㅋㅋㅋ.
Here's the list:

-Girls always bash each other (of course behind their backs)
-Not to mess with Cassiopeia (동방신기 FAN CLUB) *if you don't know 동방신기 SHAME ON YOU!!!*
-They eat and eat and eat BUT they have no INCH of fat on them! how?! I do not know.

-Everyone wants to be YOUR friend because you are American

FIRST DAY OF KOREAN HIGH SCHOOL!!

Yesterday was the FIRST DAY of REAL KOREAN HIGH SCHOOL!! >:D It was quite interesting~! The school is "supposedly" co-ed BUT Boys and Girls are NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE NEAR EACH OTHER! They are sepereated in different into different classes and hallways are seperated (left are for the boys and right are for the girls). You call this co-ed?! I think not! I was a little devasted on that part but no biggy because it seems I do pay attention more with an all girl classrom. >.<" lol. Everyone is really nice..I don't really know their true nature just yet...and a lot of people are really shy. In all my classes...so far I have on male teachers!! OMG~ I can't believe that but they're all old except for one! Everyone thinks he's cute!! lol. Now about my classes..GAH! I have freakin 10 CLASSES EVERYDAY and INCLUDING some SATURDAYS!! OMG! I don't know how I am going to survive when I can barely take seven at Harding!! lol. Maybe somehow I can do it...maybe...I hope I can...anyways I got also got my SUMMER SCHOOL UNIFORM YESTERDAY!! YAY ME! >:P It's not all that bad looking...it's actually cute compared to others but it's JANKY on me!! lmao. I can'y wait for the Winter School Uniform because from the pictures it looks really cute!! Well I'll be uploading a pictur of me with my school uniform soon so wait for that~!!

Hello there!! :) Yesterday I went to the Valley with 주은 and her art class. It was REALLLLLLLLYYYY FUN!! We went swimming in the little vally river and dunked each other underwater! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. I got dunked only once by the 선생님. ahahaa! I dunked A LOT OF PEOPLE and I don't think they were evry happy with me afterwards...maybe even despited me...>.< We cooked pork and ramen and it was DELICIOUS!! I've always wanted to travel then cook and eat like the Korean style stuff I see in the dramas! DREAM COME TRUE! :P The bad thing was...I got 15 mosquito bites and I got several tans!! UGH! >:O

Today as a family we went to 촌주 to look at traditional Korean houses. It was interesting but the weather made us go home early...it was wayyyy to HOT! I also thought we were going to watch a movie today but I guess not. OH!! Recently I've been watching Cinderella's Sister (a Korean drama). I'm ADDICTED!! [sigh] Tomorrow will be my FIRST DAY of Korean High School. I am quite nervous about it..I don't know how they will react...I hope they accpet me into their class. I also heard that Korean teaching styles are different from American style...we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Hello Hello Hello! :) Sorry it's been so long since I've updated this blog. As all of you shold know I am really bad at blogging and updating...I guess it's just not my thing. lol. It's been about a week since I've been with my new host family. I will be staying with them for the rest of the year. (ACTUALLY I have another host family for Winter break). teehee!! My new host family is nice and not to mentin they are rich...the dad owns a Mercedes. ;) My host sister 주운 (Jooeun) is one year younger than me..I wish we were the same age but no luck there. I have another sis the same age but she attends a boarding school in America. You see what I mean when I said they are rich. lol. The mom is really nice, loving and pretty but she intimidates me for some reason. The dad is cool...he's wuiet but I can tell he's loving too. :) OHHHH!! I forgot to mention where I moved to!! I moved from seoul to Iksan...a BIG CULTURE SHOCK to me...Iksan is small...VERY SMALL compared to Seoul. I won't lie..I LIKE SEOUL BETTER but I have yet to explore Iksan. :)

ok...now REWINDING BACK TO SEOUL! Before I left Seoul we met with our supporters one last time. We went on a night cruise on the 한강 (Han River). It was lovely~we gave presents to Jihee and Seungjun...T^T it was a beautiful moment becasue seungjun cried. :) I can never forget that. It shows how much he loves us and that he really trully cares about us. :) We love him too!! I miss them already...

OK so today I'm going to the 노래빵 with 걍연 and maybe his 친구. Brielle was suppose to go too but then family plans came up so she's not going anymore. I wounder if he's bring any friends. lol. He's really cute...but he's leaving to MN, USA soon *August 8, 2010*. XDD. I hoipe he has a BLAST~! I really don't want to go alone...gah and i don't want to ask Elwin to go eityher....T^T.....

Yesterday we went to the Samsung Building. It's FULL of Samsung electronics...it was AWESOME!! >:D You can play with everything...a digital tech play house! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!??!?!! It was just so high tech...it made my brain hurt. :P I wish my house was high tech and pretty like that. If I knew hos to upload pics...I would...but then again I don't know how. We also ate Indian food for lunch....kinda weird but it was ok...the taste stayed in my mouth for a really long time. I can still taste it. gah~! BTW we had curry.

OMG!! I can't believe it's been about a month now~! yah....I didn't even know until Brielle brought it up. ^__^ Summer Vacation is almost over...and soon the summer nsli-yians will have to return back to 미국.

Oh I am really depressed about losing my stuff on the subway. T^T My $4 pen...aish~! And also i hate my bangs...I'm amd at myself for cutting them. They are HIDEOUS~! I hate it. But it's summer so hopefully it'll grow longer. :) That was the initial plan anyways. XDDD

I am super duper mad today~! I lost my stuff on the sybway today...all my korean stuff....my homework/books etc. What should I do....GAH~!!!! ughhhh I am so mad....i dont think i can find it now. but but but I need it and I worked so hard on the homeowrk and now I have to redo it again~!! GAH~! I'm mad at myself.......>:O.

OK...so i met 고모's rich 친구~! *I call her my KOrean mommy or 이모. SHE LIVES BY BIG BANG AND THAT IS NO JOKE~!! HER HOUSE WAS SUPER FLY MAN~! It was awesome!! I love her and she loves meeeee as a daughter~! Her house is super fly cuz you can see the HAN RIVER and the whole downtown of Seoul. What a pretty sight...I will never forget it. It seems so freakin surreal. I also met the her 2 sons. lol. I met her youngest son first and he's 20 yrs and he's ok looking ahaha BUT then later I met her oldest son and oh boy was he GOOD LOOKING~! He was a godvia...for sure. *CODE WORD -->> godiva=cute/hot/sexy man* lol.....ㅋㅋㅋ. He didnt really talkj to me though cuz he came home really late like around 11pm and then he talked to my host dad and all. He was soooo cute!! ANDDD I got to call him 오빠 (oppa). teehee!

Ok ok I admit it...I have been shopping alot BUT in my defense that's becasue I I ddnt brgina lot of clothes on the trip. I was planning to buy them here and boy yes they are cheap. lol. I love that~! yay~! >.<" Though the pants dont fit me vuc I'm alittle on the heavier side and MAJORITY of Korean Girls are SUPER SKINNNNNYYYY and slim. lol....so the jeans are all small and crap. Gah I have to go to Forever 21 to buy Jeans so they can fit me! >.< hahahaa I saw parts of Ewha Women's University today. It looks really cool and the campus looks big. They also have a shopping district like right by it. HOW convient is that??!?!??! I went shopping there today.....it has some really cute and cheap clothes. You all must go there. lol.

NOw again with the Korea ppls...a lot of students seem to want to go to 미국 (America) for college....maybe cuz it's so COMPETITIVE here in Korea....I don't know. I met this new 친구 (friend) and he's going to by MY HOMETOWN!! He's going to Minneapolis. I am super excited for him!! :D He's going to America becasue he wants to go to college at University of Michigan...in Sports Management. I was like"wow...he knows what he wants to already...and he's going for it." LOL. I told him to go to Univeristy of Minnesota casue that's where I live. lol....he siad he'll thin about it. XDDD. ~~~GAH!! Now that's got me thinking abouit college and ACT/SAT and everything. I'm speanding a year here in Korea....I don't really know how everything is going to work but hopefully I will graduate on time and not repeat Junior year. *cross fingers* I have to look into what college I want to go to....I don't know yet...well I have a scholarship to go to U of M (University of Minnesota) already. DO I want to go there?? There's so many options....I dont know what to choose....*SIGH* I don't want to go to a crappy college...I'm starting to want to go to IVY League schools now. Idk.....GAH! Aishhhhh~!! I think I killed my host famliy's pc. lol. Now I have to use the pc at Sogang. OH....boy I wish I had an MP3 so I can download some music....I'm always bored at home.....there's not uch to do there. I mean I can go and explore the area but I already did twice. ㅋㅋㅋ. Class is oging great! I am learning a lot in a short amount of time. :)

OKay...let me say a few things about Korean ppl...I think I might have mentioned it before but I will say thiem again. XDD. Korea ppl always amuse me. XD lol. They are always dressed up even when it's 70 degrees out (they use celcius in Korea). Majority of the ppl have very good sense of style. *I'm sure gald they do. lol.* Majoirty if the ppl are skinny and tall...I am amzed cuz I thought they were going to be short...like me. XPPP. I guess not. A lot of girls do have white skin...but I doubt whether it's natural or not. Oh...yes they do wear make up...but it consists more of concealer and foundation than make up eye liners and eye shadow which a lot of Americans use. They know theier make up because it is nicley done and it just seems flawless. :) I want to try that someday...but I don't know how. lol.

Heyyy you guys~!! SO I've been in Seoul for about 2 weeks or so now. I love Seoul!! My host famliy is very kind and sweet. :) Such a nice family. Also Host mom COOOOOOOKKKKSSSS WELL!! Thank goodness! I live just right outside of Seoul....like by the border...so I guess I live in Gyeonggi-do. It's not so bad...you can get to Seoul within minutes by bus. My host family's house isn't that big buttttttt it is nice and cozy. :) I went exploring today and I found BIG HOUSES by where I love.....dang.....who know?? lol. They are pretty big for Korean standards. >:D I like it!! heheee...

School is going good...I'm surprised I'm in Intermidiate Class...yay!! I'm happy about that but a lot of people are complaining that we aren't learning enough within the given time. I like the pace that we are going so I'm not complaining.

OMG!! There are so many good looking guys here in Korea~! They are all dressed so nicely...oh my....lovely!! This must be heaven. J/k!! lol. I need a 한국 남자 bf! lol....j/k. SO far...South Korea is lovely. :) *psst! I can always see the mountains...they are BEAUTIFUL!

Yayyyyyyy!! XDDDDDD I finally found out my about my flight. I am flying to San Franciso for 2 days for Orientation then to Seoul Incheon AIRPORT!!! eeepppp! I am so EXCITED! I'm leaving in like 2 weeks. I'm not going to lie...I am quite nervous about this whole flight and airport thing. I keep having fears about getting lost at the airport, not being on time, forgetting about my flight, missing my flight etc. Aish....T-T....I guess I shouldn't be thinking about that too much.
